Lazio are willing to lower their asking price for Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who was strongly linked with a move away from Stadio Olimpico during the summer transfer window, with the Red Devils understood to be leading the race for his services.
The likes of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain were also credited with an interest, but the Serbian midfielder ultimately stayed at Lazio after they refused to sell for anything below £100 million.
However, Sky Sport Italia suggests that Lazio are considering lowering that price tag after acknowledging that the 23-year-old’s displays have dipped so far this campaign.
The Serie A side will not consider offers during the January transfer window but could alter their demands next summer to offload the player.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who has also been linked with a move to local rivals Inter Milan, has netted one goal in 15 matches for Lazio this season.
Manchester United were desperate to sign the midfielder if their superstar Paul Pogba was sold, but the Premier League giants managed to retain the midfielder’s services and will try to do so in the upcoming transfer windows.
