Manchester United are allegedly weighing up a summer offer for Roma forward Tammy Abraham.
The Englishman joined I Giallorossi from Chelsea last summer and has enjoyed a superb campaign for his Italian club, netting 23 times and laying on four assists in 40 appearances across all competitions.
He has 15 goals in 29 Serie A matches this term, meantime, including a brace versus city rivals Lazio last time out.
According to Il Messaggero, the Red Devils have been monitoring his performances this term and could make a move for the player during this summer’s transfer market.
The report states that Chelsea have a buy-back clause of €80 million (£66.7 million), although the Londoners cannot activate it until next year, which could allow United to swoop for the number nine in the upcoming window.
Tammy, who has a contract in the Eternal City until June 2026, scored 30 goals and registered 12 assists in 82 outings for the Blues.
Cristiano Ronaldo is likely to remain at the Theatre of Dreams this summer in spite of the widespread speculation over his future, but Ralf Rangnick’s side are still believed to be interested in adding a new striker to their roster ahead of the 2022-23 term, with Edinson Cavani set to depart on a free transfer.
