Manchester United face stern competition from the La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid to land RB Leipzig star, Dani Olmo, according to a report from Transfermarketweb.
The 23-year-old star has been gaining plenty of attention. The Catalan side wanted to bring the ex-La Masia academy product back to Camp Nou.
Both sides were said to be strongly interested but Leipzig snubbed the deal on transfer deadline day. Fellow Spanish side Los Blancos have now thrown their ring into the hat.
The Spain international is under contract with Die Roten Bullen side till 2024. He has made 63 appearances for his team in all competitions ever since he sealed the move from Dinamo Zagreb.
The German side could have a great battle on their hands to retain the services of the young attacker. Manchester United and Barcelona are already in the fray to snap up Dani Olmo.
The Galacticos is the latest competition on the list of possible suitors. They view the 23-year-old star as a great option to reinforce their attack.
It is being stated that Leipzig are demanding a €70 million sum for their attacker. In his previous campaign with the German club the forward scored seven goals and provided 12 assists in 46 matches across all competitions.
