Manchester United could reportedly make a move for Tottenham Hotspur midfield star Harry Winks this summer.

The 24-year-old English man has only signed a new long-term contract with the Spurs last July and now has a deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until June 2024.

Winks has been a vital player for Jose Mourinho this campaign, however, according to The Mirror, the Red Devils are exploring the possibility of securing the services on the England international during this summer’s transfer window.

The report suggests that the 20-times English champions, head-coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer views the central midfielder as ‘one of his top summer targets’.

The Red Devils manager has allegedly wanted to bring four new players to Old Trafford during the winter transfer window, however, only Odion Ighalo and Bruno Fernandes arrived.

The Red Devils, who have dropped to ninth spot in the English top-tier, will be looking to return to winning ways when they travel to Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, Manchester United could reportedly go head to head with La Liga giants Real Madrid for the services of Real Valladolid centre-back Mohammed Salisu during this summer’s transfer window.

The 20-year-old has broken into the Valladolid starting XI during the 2019-20 season, playing 24 games in all competitions, including 23 in La Ligas top flight.

According to AS, the Los Blancos are determined to secure the services of the Ghanian at the end of the campaign, however, the Red Devils are also interested in a summer deal and could submit an offer when the transfer window will be re-opened in the summer.
