Man Utd eyeing move for Leicester City midfielder valued at €60m

Manchester United are interested in signing Wilfred Ndidi from fellow Premier League side Leicester City this January, according to a recent report by Spanish outlet Fichajes.

He joined the Foxes from KRC Genk in the winter of 2017 and has since gone on to become the in-demand replacement for N’Golo Kante.

Now widely considered as one of the best defensive midfielders on show in the Premier League, the Nigerian star has become a mainstay for his team.

To date, the 24-year-old Ndidi has amassed 185 appearances for the King Power Stadium outfit, registering nine goals and 11 assists in the process.

Wilfred’s progress over the last few seasons or so has invariably drawn the interest of some of the biggest sides in the Premier League, and beyond, with the Red Devils currently hot on his trails.

In fact, as per the same report, it looks like United are prioritising a move for the star, with a January swoop being lined up.

However, Leicester City might well be unwilling to part with a top star midway through the campaign and it remains to be seen if they can somehow reach a total agreement over a winter transfer.
