Man Utd in danger to miss out signing of Serie A No.10 attacker

Real Madrid have reportedly identified Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez as a potential January signing,

Having scored 14 goals in the Italian top-tier and the Champions League this campaign, Martinez has allegedly emerged as a shock target for a number of top European teams including Premier League giants Man Utd.

La Liga giants Barcelona are currently regarded as the frontrunners for the Argentine international forward, while the Red Devils are believed to be keeping tabs on the situation as they look to strengthen their attacking line.

However, Sport reports that the Los Blancos are ready to make an approach for the 23-year-old, who has £94m release clause in his current deal.

While there is the suggestion that the figure could be met in January, Real Madrid may prefer to wait until later in 2020 to commit to such an outlay.

With Serie A giants currently challenging for the Italian crown with Juventus, Martinez could insist on staying at San Siro for at least for the remainder of the season and then make a decision over his future.

Meanwhile, Manchester United starlet Tahith Chong has been reportedly offered £35,000 per week salary in order to finalise a move to defending Serie A champions, Juventus.

The Dutch winger, who moved to the 20-times English champions back in 2016, only has six months left on his current deal and there are no indications to suggest that a deal will be signed soon.

The 20-year-old forward has seen his opportunities in the first team limited so far this season, managing to make only four appearances in all competitions.

According to The Sun, Italian giants will give the Dutchman a £2m signing on bonus along with a significant wage increase if he decides to depart from the Red Devils for Turin.
