Man Utd keeping tabs on Bundesliga no.7 forward

Manchester United are keeping tabs on Jadon Sancho to make a move for the winger this summer.

Dortmund star left Manchester City for the Bundesliga back in 2017 after rejecting a £30,000-a-week contract to stay at Etihad.

The 18-year-old is now widely considered to be one of the hottest prospects in Europe, and his rapid progress has not gone unnoticed at Old Trafford.

Despite the uncertainty over the club’s next permanent manager, the 20-times English champions board are already making plans for the next transfer window and have consulted interim boss over the strengths and weaknesses of the squad.

While a centre-back remains a priority, United have identified the right flank as an area in need of investment and have watched Sancho closely since he decided to move to Germany.

Dortmund value him at around £90 million, but United are ready to spend big this summer for the right players.

Interest in the Englishman is likely to be fierce, and Manchester City’s buy-back clause on the winger means they can match any bid that Dortmund accept for the teenager.

Manchester United were desperate to sign Chelsea star Willian, but the club saw little value in paying over £50 million and chose to offer contract renewal to Anthony Martial.
