Manchester United are allegedly considering a summer swoop for their Premier League rivals Everton’s Brazilian attacker Richarlison.
The 24-year-old versatile star has made 139 appearances for the Toffees since arriving from Watford four years ago, scoring 47 times and picking up 12 assists in the process.
He has little over two years left to run on his deal at Goodison Park, but there has recently been talk surrounding his long-term future, with Frank Lampard’s side currently struggling in the Premier League.
According to a recent report by CaughtOffside, the Red Devils held a meeting with the South American’s entourages earlier this year to discuss a potential summer transfer.
The report states that the 20-time English champions would have to pay between £60 million and £70 million for the forward and they’d be prepared to offer the ex-Watford ace ‘a significant rise’ on his existing salary at the club.
He has struggled with calf and knee injuries this campaign, but he has still featured 20 times in all competitions for his side, scoring five times and laying on three assists in the process.
The technically-gifted player first arrived in English football four seasons ago, joining the Hornets from Fluminense.
