Manchester United have reportedly offered new contract to versatile defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah.
The 22-year-old defender was reintroduced into the first team at Old Trafford after the lockdown period earlier this year and has been involved on two times for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team this season.
Fosu-Mensah’s current contract at Old Trafford is set to expire next June, however, according to the Manchester Evening News, the Dutch centre-back has been offered fresh contract.
The report suggests that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is determined to keep hold of the 22-year-old star, having been impressed by his training form prior to the enforced lockdown.
As it stands, the ex-Ajax starlet would be free to negotiate with foreign teams at the start of 2021, and there are allegedly a number of club that have shown interested in his signature.
The 22-year-old defender, who has recently spent time on loan with Premier League outfits, Crystal Palace and Fulham, has played 29 first-team games for the Red Devils in all competitions.
Man Utd also keen on to agree new deal for French playmaker, Paul Pogba who has been tipped with a switch to European giants Real Madrid and Juventus.
