Man Utd plotting summer move for 6 ft 4 AS Monaco star valued at €15m

Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly currently talkings with Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco over a potential deal for Benoit Badiashile.

The 19-year-old, who has played 20 games for his Ligue 1 team during the 2019-20 season, has been rumoured with a number of teams in recent months.

Bayer Leverkusen are believed to be a huge fan of the teenager, while La Liga giants Real Madrid have also allegedly identified the defender as a potential summer signing.

According to TF1, Monaco want in excess of €15m (£13.5m) for the starlet, and the Red Devils are currently in talks with the principality outfit over a potential move.

Badiashile, who has been capped at Under-19 level by France, has played 46 games in all competitions for his current team since debuting in November 2018.

The centre-back has a deal at the Stade Louis II until the end of the 2023-24 season.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are allegedly contemplating whether to make a move for Burnley playmaker Jeff Hendrick.

With his deal having expired at Burnley, the Republic of Ireland international has recently been tipped to make a switch to Serie A giants, AC Milan.

However, while talk of a surprise move to San Siro has become less frequent, it appears that the 28-year-old midfielder still could join of the top teams in Europe.

According to Football Insider, the 20-times English champions are among the teams who are planning to make a move for the free agent over the coming months.
