Man Utd and Liverpool eyeing move for 27-year-old RB Leipzig skipper
Liverpool and Man Utd are reportedly ready to battle for RB Leipzig skipper Marcel Sabitzer.
The Austrian international has impressed this campaign, founding back of the net seven times and provided six assists for the German side, who are pushing Bayern Munich at the top of the Germany top-tier..
The central-midfielder’s deal is set to expire in June 2022 and RB Leipzig are believed to be considering cashing in on their skipper in order to avoid losing him for free next summer.
The Daily Mail reports that Tottenham, Liverpool and Man Utd are the three Premier League teams interested in bringing the 27-year-old to England, although German outfits will reportedly demand £36m for their star player.
Claims that Georginio Wijnaldum is on his way out of Anfield will see the Merseyside Reds needing a replacement, while Tottenham have reportedly had a longer-term interest in Bundesliga attacker.
Manchester United could be in the market for midfield reinforcements as both Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek has been rumoured with a departure from Old Trafford.
Sabitzer has been at the Red Bull Arena since 2015, playing 219 games and scoring 50 goals in that period.
Man Utd set to join the race for La Liga No.11 forward
Manchester United have reportedly been in regular contact with Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele’s agents over a possible transfer at the end of the season.
The 20-times English champions are believed to have missed out on the French forward last summer after Barca pulled out of talks late in the window.
It was reported at the time that the Red Devils wanted 23-year-old on a loan deal with the right to buy, however, the Catalan giants would only agree to that if the Frenchman first signed a one-year extension.
Spanish outlet Sport claims that the Premier League side have stayed in touch with Frenchman’s representatives since then and are now ready to reopen talks with Barca.
Dembele is enjoying his best form since joining from German giants Borussia Dortmund in an initial £97m deal four years ago as a replacement for Paris Saint-Germain-bound Neymar.
The report claims that Spanish giants would prefer to tie the ex-Rennes winger down to a new deal, however, if they are unable to do so they will be open to cashing in.
France international Dembele has 16 months left on his current deal at Camp Nou and Spanish giants are demanding at least £80m for his services.
Man Utd told to pay £30m for 21-year-old Championship defender
Championship outfits, Norwich City have reportedly slapped a £30m price tag on the head of in-demand full-back Max Aarons.
The right-back saw a move to La Liga giants, Barcelona, fall through last summer and ultimately remained at Carrow Road, where he has found back of the net once and provided three assists from 38 Championship starts this campaign.
The Canaries seem destined to make an immediate return to the Premier League after their relegation last campaign, however, Aarons is being tipped to depart regardless of where Norwich ply their trade in the 2021-22 season.
Aston Villa and Man Utd are reportedly hoping to strike a contract for the 21-year-old full-back but according to The Telegraph, it would take a £30m bid for Norwich to allow him to depart from the club.
Aarons stays contracted to Daniel Farke’s team until 2024, so Norwich can afford to play hardball over a fee, especially if they managed to make a promotion to the English top-tier.
Serie A giants AS Roma and AC Milan have also been credited with a strong interest in the England Under-21s international.
Championship another star David Brooks has been also rumoured with a switch to Old Trafford.
