Man Utd £290,000 a-week star open to sign a new contract despite exit rumours

French midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly happy to sign a new contract and extend his stay at Manchester United.

Although the Red Devils are in a position where they can extend the 27-year-old’s current deal until 2022, it has been reported that club officials are yet to decide whether there is value in keeping world-cup winning playmaker at the club.

However, according to ESPN, player himself is increasingly content with life at Man Utd after recently returning from a long-term absence.

In his most recent outings in the English top-tier, the midfielder has linked up well with January arrival Bruno Fernandes, adding a different dimension to the Red Devils play.

That appears to have swayed Frenchman into looking to commit his future to Old Trafford, rather than pursuing a switch to either Juventus or Real Madrid.

Pogba currently earns around 290,000 per week at Manchester United he is the second-highest-paid player at the club after David de Gea.

Frenchman has played only 10 Premier League games this season and has yet to found back of the net, however, he has assisted four times.
