Manchester United have been told to pay around £75m to secure services of Ajax star Frenkie De Jong.
According to AS, the Red Devils among many other teams, have been made aware of Dutchman’s valuation.
The report suggested that Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Barcelona and Liverpool are also showing an interest in the highly-rated midfielder.
He has been capped four times by Netherland national team at senior level and has been impressing for Ajax this term is a vital player for them.
De Jong picked up seven assists in 22 games last campaign for Ajax in what was a breakthrough season for the 21-year-old midfielder.
The report does claim that La Liga giants Barcelona are the frontrunners at this point, with the Spanish heavyweights said to be holding a ‘serious’ interest in 21-year-old star.
The Red Devils are keen to strengthen their midfield options and see De Jong as a perfect replacement for their team.
Meanwhile, Romelu Lukaku is reportedly eyeing up a move away from Man United after becoming the latest player to have expressed interest to leave the club.
The Belgian forward has been left out of the Red Devils’ starting XI for a couple of key matches in the recent weeks, including the 2-2 draw with their bitter Premier League rivals Arsenal on Wednesday.
