Man Utd told to forget signing of 21-year-old Englishman

Premier League outfits West Ham United are reportedly determined to keep hold of versatile English midfielder Declan Rice amid interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.

The 21-year-old midfielder is under contract at the London outfits until 2024, however, has been persistently rumoured with a move away from the London Stadium following stunning form over the past two campaigns.

Rice’s former team Chelsea are believed to be eyeing up a reunion with their ex-youth product, however, both Chelsea and Manchester United have cooled their interest in the midfielder recently.

Recent reports have claimed that David Moyes side may be open to sale, however, according to Goal, West Ham not interested to get rid of their key player this summer.

The report suggests that the Hammers are determined to keep Declan Rice on the books next campaign, despite reports that they could be forced to sell their most prized asset to cope financially due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Since turning professional at West Ham Utd back in 2015, Rice has gone on to played 101 games for the London outfits in all competitions, including 29 top-flight games this campaign

Chelsea and Man Utd both are keen on to sign a versatile midfielder this summer and Declan Rice perfectly fits in at both Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford.
