Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho has ruled out a stunning return to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
And the Man United head-coach insists he wants to sign a new contract with the Red Devils in the wake of Sunday’s 2-2 draw against their bitter Premier League rivals Chelsea.
The Portuguese boss has been rumoured with a move back to the Santiago Bernabeu following Julen Lopetegui’s awful start as the Los Blancos new boss.
The ex-Porto boss was infamously sacked by Spain on the verge of the World Cup after his shock move to Real Madrid has been confirmed.
However, Lopetegui could soon find himself unemployed again after the Los Blancos went five games without a win following their loss to Levante last weekend.
It’s reported that Mourinho is on Los Blancos’ wishlist in a bid to return club back on winning ways.
However, the Special One, rumoured to be in the firing line at the Theatre of Dreams, is adamant he is keen on to remain at Old Trafford and sign a new deal.
Speaking on the eve of the crunch Champions League clash with Juventus, Mourinho said: “[Real?] No. My future is here.
“I have a contract and until the final year of my contract I only think about United.
“I would like to stay after my contract [up until 2020] runs out as well.”
