Man Utd wondekid on the verge to make Chelsea move

Chelsea have offered a contract to Manchester United wondekrid Angel Gomes, according to the Independent reports,

The 19-year-old will depart from Old Trafford on a free transfer on Wednesday after turning down Man Utd’s contract extension and he will officially be a free agent.

As per a report in The Athletic, the Red Devils have offered Gomes a decent financial package in a bid to keep him at the team, however, the player wanted to join a team where he would get more minutes in the starting XI.

Frank Lampard is in the midst of a rebuild at Stamford Bridge and he has been known to be keen on to give young players opportunities to flourish, and that could entice Gomes to depart from Old Trafford.

Furthermore, Pedro and Willian look like they’ll be departing from Chelsea, so that could create a pathway to more first-team action too. However, Timo Werner and Hakim Zyech will arrive at Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, Chelsea forward Willian has attracted transfer interest from Premier League rivals Man Utd.

Brazilian could make a move to Man Utd because he wants to remain in the Premier League, reports say.

The Brazil international is poised to become a free agent when the season ends and Solskjaer is keen on to lure experienced forward at Old Trafford.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard remains a fan of Willian as he has been in the starting XI most of the time after he has been in charge.
