Manchester United eyeing move for 25-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt forward

Manchester United are reportedly interested in securing services of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Andre Silva.

The 25-year-old joined Bundesliga outfits on a permanent basis last summer and has been in stunning form during the 2020-21 season, founding back of the net 19 times in 22 games across the all competitions.

The Portugal international found it tough to make his mark at Serie A giants, AC Milan between 2017 and 2020, however, has now managed 35 goals in 59 games for his current club, including a loan spell during the 2019-20 season.

The Red Devils are believed to be keen to signing a new striker for the next seasin, with Borussia Dortmund’s attacker Erling Braut Haaland an option, however, the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona are also believed to be in the mix for his services.

According to Sky Deutschland, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have identified Silva as a possible acquisition, with the second-highest goalscorer in this season’s Bundesliga only behind from Robert Lewandowski.

The Portuguese forward also has an stunning record at international level – where he plays alongside the Red Devils attacker Bruno Fernandes – finding the back of the net on 16 occasions in 37 appearances.

Silva’s current contract with Die Adler is set to run until the summer of 2023.
