Manchester United reportedly value center-back Phil Jones at £15m despite his lack of action over the last couple of years.
The 29-year-old center-back has played the full 90 minutes against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English top-tier on January 3, which proved to be his first appearance for the 20-times English champions in nearly two years.
English centre-back is believed to be available for transfer this month, with a number of teams believed to be showing an interest, however, according to the Daily Star, the Red Devils want £15m for the Englishman.
The report suggests that Burnley are keen on the defender but would not be prepared to match his club’s valuation or pay his £100,000-a-week wages.
Jones impressed on his return for the Red Devils against Wolves but was back on the bench against Aston Villa on Saturday, Harry Maguire, Eric Bailly, Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof are all ahead of him in the pecking order.
The ex-Blackburn Rovers defender has played 225 games for the Red Devils since arriving in 2011, winning one Premier League title and one FA Cup.
Manchester United another defender Eric Baily has been also rumored to be on his way out from the club with AC Milan are interested to lure him away from Old Trafford.
