Marco Reuse urged Bundesliga No.7 forward to snub Man Utd move

Borussia Dortmund talisman Marco Reus has claimed that his teammate Jadon Sancho should continue his career at German outfits and snub interest from the club like Man Utd and Barcelona.

Having starred for the German heavyweights during the current season, England international forward is being strongly linked with a switch to Manchester United in 2020.

However, despite acknowledging that Sancho will inevitably take “the really big step”, Dortmund star Marco Reus feels that the 20-year-old should remain at Signal Iduna Park.

Speaking to Bild, Reus said: “Jadon is an outstanding player and will definitely remain in demand by many clubs. That is a fact. He’s now playing at an even higher level than last year and would be extremely valuable in achieving our goals.

“I would advise him to stay at BVB for another year, maybe two. From my point of view, there is no better place for him at the moment.

“Afterwards, he can take the really big step as an even more complete player, having developed further in peace here as a regular starter.”

Sancho currently has just over two years left on his current deal, putting Dortmund in a perfect position where they will have to contemplate offers for his services.

Sancho has been in stunning form this term as he has managed to score 17-goals and provide 19-assists in the process.
