Manchester United have reportedly been told that they can secure services of West Ham United defender Issa Diop this summer for £45m transfer fee.
The 20-times English champions are believed to be in the market for a new centre-back, with the futures of Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo all undecided ahead of next campaign.
The Red Devils were rumoured with Issa Diop last summer, and according to Sky Sports News, the team could have been given the green light to land the French defender in the coming weeks.
The report claims that the Hammers need to sell players in the summer to balance the books and would be prepared to accept offers of £45m for the centre-back.
Reporter Kaveh Solhekol reports that ‘at least two Premier League teams’ are interested in securing the services of Diop, who is believed to collect in the region of £50,000 per week in wages at the London Stadium.
The Red Devils also continue to be rumoured with Borussia Dortmund’s winger Jadon Sancho, however, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are believed to be struggling to agree on personal terms with the England international wing wizard.
