Not Perisic: Man Utd set to make January bid for Inter Milan key man

December 16, 2018

Man Utd and Chelsea have been put on red alert following reports that Inter could be forced into selling one of their star players Milan Skriniar.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited on Calciomercato, Serie A club may need to make up between €40-€50 million before the summer transfer window.

Due to Financial Fair Play restrictions, Slovenian defender could be moved on, according to the reports from Italy.

Inter Milan have crashed out of the Champions League after failing to beat PSV on Tuesday night at San Siro.

Both Man Utd and Chelsea have been strongly linked with a move to sign the key player

Jose Mourinho and Maurizio Sarri are eager to strengthen defensively and Milan Skriniar is widely regarded as one of the most promising defenders in Europe following his stunning form at San Siro giants.

With Gary Cahill set to leave Chelsea in the new year, as well as Christensen attracting interest from elsewhere, Sarri is likely to be in the market for defensive reinforcements and Man Utd are also in the market for defensive recruits following the poor form of Eric Bailly, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling.
