Liverpool and Manchester City are allegedly among a host of European clubs who are keen on signing Palmeiras sensation Luis Guilherme.
The Brazilian’s long-term future with Alviverde remains uncertain as the player is still in the process of negotiating his very first professional deal.
Luis has already caught the eye at youth level and the playmaker was recently a member of his country’s U17s team who won the Montaigu Tournament, a competition which the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Andrea Pirlo, Thierry Henry and Cristiano Ronaldo have all competed in over the seasons.
According to local journalist Jorge Nicola, via his official YouTube channel, the Reds, the Citizens and a host of other elite European teams have been ‘analysing’ the 16-year-old South American since last term.
The creative midfielder is yet to make his first-team debut for Verdao, but Guilherme has made 15 outings at youth level, scoring seven goals and laying on one assist, while for the Brazil U16s team, the prodigy has found the net three times in four matches.
His teammate Endrick has also been linked with a transfer to Europe, with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid all understood to be closely monitoring the rising star.
