Paris Saint-Germain set to rival Liverpool for Brazilian wonderkid

Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined Liverpool in the race to secure the services of Vasco da Gama attacker Talles Magno.

The 17-year-old’s form since breaking into the Vasco first team are believed to have alerted a number of teams in Europe, including Champions League holders the Merseyside Reds.

Serie A giants Lazio, AS Roma and Juventus alongside with Benfica have also been in the race for the youngster, and Footmercato claims that French giants PSG have now added their name to the list of potential suitors ahead of the next season.

Magno is believed to have a release clause of €50m (£44.7m) in his current deal at Vasco, although Paris Saint-Germain are hopeful that they would be able to secure his services for significantly less than that.

The Brazilian, who has managed to found back of the net twice and created one more in 15 first-team games so far, only recently signed a new deal to tie him to Vasco until 2022.

The 17-year-old attacker has been in stunning form and despite his talent, he is unlikely to go straight in Liverpool starting XI due to high competition.
