Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined Real Madrid and Arsenal in the race to secure services of Brighton & Hove Albion defender Ben White during this summer’s transfer window.
The 23-year-old excelled for Brighton during the 2020-21 season and received a call-up to the England team for Euro 2020 following Trent Alexander-Arnold’s injury.
Arsenal are believed to be desperate to secure the services of the defender this summer, with the North London club believed to be preparing to table a £45m offer, having seen their initial £40m bid turned down by the Seagulls.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, have also recently been credited with a strong interest, as Los Blancos prepare to replace Sergio Ramos, who is departing the Bernabeu on a free transfer.
However, according to The Mirror, there is also genuine interest from Ligue 1 PSG, with the French teams head coach Mauricio Pochettino an admirer of the Englishman.
The report suggests that Pochettino kept an eye on White’s performances on loan at Leeds United, and the Ligue 1 outfit could now beat Arsenal to his services.
Brighton are believed to value the centre-back, who has a contract at the Amex until the summer of 2024, in the region of £50m.
