Poppy Appeal raises thousands for British Legion

Southampton FC and their charitable arm, Saints Foundation, would like to extend their gratitude to fans who have pledged their support for this year’s Royal British Legion campaign.
The club’s Poppy Appeal has raised over £7,000 for members of the Armed Forces community, after fans were given the chance to bid on matchworn shirts from Saints’ September fixture against Burnley.

The sale of shirts has raised £4,429, while the purchase of poppy badges has raised a further £2,572.50.

This contribution will go directly to the Royal British Legion, and their continued work to support ex-service men and women, current members of the Armed Forces, and their families.
