The Premier Leauge outfit Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson is being tipped to sign for Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea in the January transfer market, according to a global online gambling company Betway.
With continued question marks against strikers Spanish forward Alvaro Morata and French striker Olivier Giroud, Maurizio Sarri could look for a new player to lead the line in January transfer window.
It is Callum Wilson who has appeared as a surprise candidate and according to Betway’s Alan Alger, who said: “It could be all change at Chelsea with Callum Wilson 3/1 to join the Blues from Bournemouth.”
Wilson has been excellent for his side this season, netting nine goals in 17 appearances. The 26-year-old star also earned his first-ever England call-up, netting on his debut against the USA.
Whether or not Wilson ends up making the move to Chelsea remains to be seen, but Englishman would be an interesting signing by the west London outfit.
Firepower is required in the second half of the campaign, with both Giroud and Morata not without their critics because of their poor performances throughout the season.
