Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are reportedly both ready to pounce if Mohamed Salah fails to put pen on a new deal at Anfield.
The Merseyside Reds have tied down the likes of Jordan Henderson, Alisson Becker, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold to new contract, however, they are yet to reach an agreement over an extension for Mohamed Salah.
The former AS Roma and Chelsea forward supposedly wants a staggering £500k per week to stay at Anfield beyond 2023, however, the Merseyside Reds are not prepared to shatter their wage structure.
Should the forward opt against extending his stay on Merseyside, The Mirror claims that both Real Madrid and PSG are among the clubs preparing to swoop in.
Talks are believed to be ongoing between the Merseyside Reds and Mohamed Salah over a new deal, however, the report adds that there has been ‘no breakthrough’ in talks following to the 29-year-old’s hefty demands.
Salah has already found back of the net twice and set up two more in three Premier League games this campaign, with his tally now standing at 127 goals and 49 assists in 206 games for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
