PSG have reportedly offered Layvin Kurzawa a four-year deal in a last-ditch attempt to fend off interest from Arsenal and Chelsea.
The France international’s current deal is due to end next month, making him one of the hottest free agents ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
Arsenal and Chelsea have been tipped to make a move for Layrwin Kurzawa, while La Liga heavyweights Barcelona were also previously linked.
France Football reports that there has been another twist in the transfer saga, but, as PSG have now tabled a deal extension that runs through until 2024.
As things stand, the 27-year-old will play no further part in PSG’s season, which resumes in August when they participate in the Champions League.
Kurzawa has played 23 games for the Ligue 1 giants in all competitions this campaign.
Arsenal are keen on to strengthen their full-back position ahead of the next season in order to chase the Premier League glory.
Chelsea have identified Kurzava as a cheaper alternative to Ben Chilwell.
Nowe, both Premier League giants, could be forced to look somewhere else in order to strengthen their defensive area.
