Real Madrid are reportedly determined to secure the services of Lyon wonderkid Rayan Cherki in the summer.

The 16-year-old, who has found back of the net three times and provided two assists in 12 first-team games for his French team this campaign, is believed to be attracting interest from several European teams including the Red Devils.

Manchester United are allegedly keen on a contract for the Frenchman, however, the Los Blancos =are believed to have the first refusal on the forward.

Cherki recently said that he ‘dreams’ of playing for Los Blancos in the future, and according to El Confidencial, Zidane’s side are desperate to secure his services in the summer.

The report suggests that the Spanish heavyweights could offer to loan Cherki back to Ligue 1 giants for the 2020-21 season.

The France U-16 international has played on six times in Ligue 1 this season, in addition to providing three goals and providing two assists in three Coupe de France games.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are reportedly exploring the possibility of securing the services of Manchester United starlet Angel Gomes for free in the summer.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder has played six first-team games for the 20-times English champions this campaign, however, has not featured since early January amid the uncertainty around his future.

Indeed, the Englishman will see his current deal at Man Utd expire in the summer and unlike Tahith Chong, the talented midfielder is yet to commit his future to the Red Devils.

According to Metro, The Red Devils have offered him a deal of £25,000 a week, however, Gomes’s agents feel that he deserves a better pay rise on his current salary.
