Real Madrid and Manchester United will reportedly battle for the services of Porto centre-back Eder Militao.

The Red Devils are desperate for defensive reinforcements as they continue to struggle to keep clean sheets, while the Los Blancos’s back four has also been far from top form this season.

According to Don Balon, both of the European clubs are considering a move for Portuguese star, who has made 19 appearances in all competitions for Portuguese giants Porto during the 2018-19 season.

The 20-year-old is believed to have a £45m release clause in his current deal with Porto, which United are believed to be prepared to meet as the yare desperate to strengthen their defensive end following the poor form of Eric Bailly and Phill Jones.

Militao, who started his professional career with Sao Paulo before moving to Portuguese giants in August 2018, is also a full Brazil international having made his international debut last campaign.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have also joined the race for Eder Militao as Jurgen Klopp keen on to sign a world-class player to strengthen their defensive end.
