Real Madrid keep a close eye on Man United defender Diogo Dalot. Los Blancos are closely monitoring the contract situation of Portugal international. The 23-year-old defender joined the Red Devils from Porto in summer 2018 as a prodigious youngster.
Dalot earned rave reviews from Mourinho, who labelled him as an elite right-back. But Diogo took some time to establish a foothold in the Red Devils first-team squad. However, the Portuguese right-back has been the first-choice defender since returning from a loan stint with Milan.
The Portuguese has also gradually risen in stature on the international stage. And Diogo has turned out 25 times across all tournaments this campaign, chipping in with a goal and three assists.
The former Porto defender’s progress has not gone unnoticed either, with La Liga giants among his prospective suitors. The Spanish club will look to add a right-back in the summer transfer window amid Carvajal’s waning levels.
