La Liga giants Real Madrid are allegedly keen on to secure a deal for Barcelona ace Xavier Mbuyamba in the upcoming summer transfer window.
With the 18-year-old seemingly available for free later in 2020, Frank Lampard’s side have been strongly linked with a move for the Dutchman.
However, while agent Carlos Barros has talked up the interest from the West London club, it is reported that the defender also has fans Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Juventus.
Barros told VI: “Almost all major clubs in Europe have asked about Xavier. Real Madrid is also there, they are serious about their education, but that would, of course, be a sensitive switch. Juventus and Inter are interested, as are top clubs from Germany and England.
“Chelsea have the best credentials. Of course, we discussed this extensively last year. They gave a fantastic presentation.
“There is a unique football atmosphere there. During lunch you are immediate with the first-team players and the club has outlined a very ambitious plan for Xavier.”
Although Mbuyamba still has three years left on his current deal, Catalan giants are believed to have no space for the talented defender in their ‘B’ team setup.
