Real Madrid are reportedly still favourites to sign Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe next summer transfer window.

The Spanish champions are believed to have made the 21-year-old their number one transfer target for 2021, having long been rumoured with a big-money move for the world-cup winning forward.

The Los Blancos President Florentino Perez is reportedly planning a major squad overhaul next summer after not spending money during the last transfer window and he regards Mbappe as the No.1 target to strengthen his team.

However, Spanish giants are expected to face fierce stiff competition for his services, with recent reports claiming that Juventus are lining up a world-record £361m deal which could even see five-time Ballon d’Or winning forward Cristiano Ronaldo move in the opposite direction.

Liverpool have also previously been rumoured with Mbappe, while Barcelona are also believed to be keeping tabs on his situation and Ligue 1 champions remain desperate to keep him at the Parc des Princes too.

However, Spanish outlet AS claims that Real Madrid remain favoutes due to Mbappe’s desire to work with his idol Zinedine Zidane.

Mbappe’s deal in the French capital is set to expire in 2022, and he is yet to put pen on a contract extension despite PSG offering him a huge pay rise.
