Real Madrid winger emerged as surprise target for Liverpool and Arsenal

November 7, 2018

Lucas Vazquez could be in line for a move to Liverpool or Arsenal, should Antonio Conte take over Julen Lopetegui job as manager of Real Madrid after the Spanish giants 5-1 defeat to their arch rivals Barcelona on the weekend.

Ex-Real Madrid B boss Santiago Solari has been named as a temporary manager of the club.

If that man is Antonio Conte, reports have  claimed that Spanish winger Lucas Vazquez could be leaving the club.

The Spaniard is supposedly aware that Conte is not his biggest fan, and several teams have been alerted to the possibility of a transfer should Conte make move to Real Madrid.

One of those clubs are Liverpool and Arsenal as they plan to strengthen their offensive end in January.

The 27-year-old has played 148 games for La Liga giants in four campaigns with the senior team, and has won three Champions League tittles with Real Madrid.

The Merseyside Reds are not the only club to have been alerted to Spaniards situation, but. Premier League rivals Chelsea are also reported to be on standby, each with sufficient purchasing power to complete a move should they wish to.
