Juventus are preparing a new offer for Paul Pogba in the January transfer market and are willing to offer Mario Mandzukic and Emre Can to the Red Devils as part of the deal, the reports say.

Pogba made it clear that he wanted to depart Old Trafford in the summer but in spite of interest from Real Madrid and Juventus, the club stood firm and refused to sell the midfielder.

But the Red Devils management’s resolve will be tested once again in the January transfer window as Pogba is reportedly still keen on a transfer away.

According to an Italian sport newspaper Tuttosport, the Old Lady have retained their interest and are prepared to offload Mandzukic and Can in return for Paul.

The report also claims that Italy international Daniele Rugani could also be offered to United as he is not able to get a game under the Italian manager Maurizio Sarri.

Manchester United, however, are unlikely to want Rugani considering that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer already has several options at centre-half in Harry Maguire, Eric Bailly, Axel Tuanzebe, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and Victor Lindelof.

Paul is currently sidelined with an ankle injury and is recovering in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai during the international break.

The World Cup winner missed Manchester United’s last two matches but will be looking to return for his club’s clash against Liverpool at Old Trafford on October 20.
