Juventus forwrd Cristiano Ronaldo would reportedly prefer a switch to Paris Saint-Germain over a return to Premier League, with Man Utd this summer.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winning striker continues to be rumoured with a move away from the Bianconeri after a disappointing 2020-21 campaign, and his deal now has under 12 months left to run.

A sensational move back to Old Trafford has been mooted, however, financial powerhouses PSG have also been tipped to make a swoop for the 36-year-old striker should he become available.

According to FootMercato, PSG have the advantage in the race for Ronaldo’s signature, as the Portuguese forward has been impressed by the way in which the French giants have gone about their transfer business having secured the services of several top-class players already.

Ronaldo is believed to be keen to reunite with Sergio Ramos at the Parc des Princes, while Gianluigi Donnarumma is believed to follow Georginio Wijnaldum and Achraf Hakimi to Paris as well.

Ronaldo has scored five goals and assisted one more in four games for Portugal at Euro 2020, and he has found the back of the net 101 times in Juventus jersey.

Manchester United main target up front remains Tottenham Hotspur hotshot Harry Kane who is keen on departing from the club ahead of the 2021/22 season.
