Liverpool are Chelsea are among a host of teams interested in Universidad de Chile attacker Dario Osorio. Despite being only 18 years old, U23 Chile international has already represented his country on two occasions. Now a regular for his club side, Dario has managed six goals in 22 matches for the senior squad of the club.
Representing your country at 18 is bound to turn the head of teams across Europe, and Dario is now being eyed by a host of teams. Liverpool and Chelsea are two of the teams showing interest in the 18-year-old forward, but they will face plenty of competition from across Europe.
The report claims that Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Lyon, Man City, Brighton, Brentford, Leicester City and Wolves are also keeping tabs on the Chilean forward. The South American winger’s rise to the Chilean first team has impressed fellow countrymen Alexis Sanchez.
“Dario Osorio has a lot of personalities and that’s important like Gary or Vidal once had. You need personality to play for the national team, and he has it,” Alexis Sanchez said. The next few months will be key for the Chilean’s future, and it will be interesting to see if he leaves his home country during the winter transfer window.
If the Reds are to be successful in their quest to add Osorio, then they have to beat several teams to the signature of the youngster compared to compatriots Arturo Vidal and Gary Medel.
