Arsenal forward Willian reportedly keen to depart from the Emirates Stadium this summer and return to former club, Chelsea.

The 32-year-old winger who was voted as the worst Premier League signing of the current campaign in the annual Sports Mole Reader Awards struggled during his first year with the Gunners founding back of the net once in 37 games across all competitions.

Brazilian forward still has two years left on his current deal with the Gunners, however, according to Sky Sports News, the winger wants a new challenge and Stamford Bridge is his favoured destination in the summer.

They also claim that several other teams, including David Beckham’s MLS club Inter Miami, are interested in the Brazilian, although he would prefer to remain and compete in the top European league.

Chelsea head-coach Thomas Tuchel already has a wealth of attacking options at his disposal who are capable of performing in the same position as Willian, including last summer’s signings Hakim Ziyech Timo Werner and Kai Havertz, as well as Mason Mount,  Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic.

Before joining the Gunners, Willian played 339 games in all competitions for the Blues during a seven-year spell with the club, recording 63 goals and 62 assists.
