Valencia, Real Sociedad and Real Betis are reportedly all interested in securing the services of Manchester United creative playmaker Juan Mata at the end of the 2020/21 season.
The 32-year-old’s current deal at Old Trafford is set to expire at the end of June, and it appears increasingly likely that the Spaniard will be allowed to depart from the Red Devils on a free transfer.
Spanish midfielder is currently on the sidelines through injury, however, has struggled for action throughout the 2020-21 season, making just 12 games in all competitions, with only seven of those coming in the English top-tier.
According to Fichajes, the forward is preparing to depart from Man United at the end of the current campaign and wants to finish his career back in Spain.
The report suggests that Real Betis and Real Sociedad both want to secure the services of the playmaker, while there is also interest from Mata’s old team Valencia, where he spent four seasons before joining Chelsea.
The ex-Real Madrid starlet has found back of the net 50 times and provided 47 assists in 267 games for the Red Devils since arriving back in January 2014.
