Marco Asensio has given Real Madrid a list of demands amid interest from Manchester United and Chelsea
The Spaniard has been a key player for Real Madrid this term and played a vital role for their success, however, his time has been still limited under Zinedine Zidane.
According to the Spanish media outlet Diario Gol, Chelsea and Manchester United are desperate to secure his services.
However, Asensio is being savvy and is using the interest from Premier League heavyweights as leverage to negotiate with the Los Blancos.
It’s reported that he’s told Rela Madrid owners he’ll only remain at Santiago Bernabeu if no one arrives on his position in the summer.
The playmaker is also demanding a massive pay rise on his current £75,000 a-week salary.
Despite speculation surrounding Spanish winger, the 22-year-old has previously ruled out switch to Premier League.
“I always try with everything I have left,” Asensio told Nike.
“To reach the biggest club in the world where there are millions of fans and a lot of pressure was a brutal change.
“My debut was in a final. I was not nervous, I scored a goal, and I won my first title.
“In all my debuts I’ve always been able to score goals, and I have come to Madrid to stay and score many goals.”
