Real Madrid summer signing Thibaut Courtois has urged the Los Blancos to sign Chelsea’s superstar Eden Hazard in order to strengthen their offensive end.
Los Blancos did not directly replace Portugal international superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in last summer’s transfer window, however, are widely expected to make a summer approach for a new high-profile forward at the end of the 2018-19 season.
The European champions have been rumoured with both Eden Hazard and Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain’s superstar Neymar, who is believed to be unsettled at France.
Courtois, however, has claimed that the Los Blancos should move for his ex-Chelsea teammate Hazard.
“I [would] choose Eden, of course. I really like him, but the choice is up to the board. I do not know what will happen. That is not a question for me, but for the chairman and the management,” Courtois told Het Nieuwsblad.
Belgian superstar, who is out of his deal at the end of next campaign, has found back of the net 13 times and registered 10 assists in 30 games for the Blues during the 2018-19 season.
