AS Roma playmaker Lorenzo Pellegrini is on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, according to a report.
The 25-year-old hit double figures in both goals and assists for the 2020-21 season, scoring 11 times and setting up 10 times for his teammates in 47 games across all competitions.
However, Pellegrini has now entered the final year of his deal with Jose Mourinho’s club, and the likes of the Merseyside Reds and Barcelona have been credited with an interest in the Italian.
The Spurs are also keeping close tabs on Pellegrini’s situation, according to The Athletic, however, AS Roma are not prepared to sanction a departure on the cheap despite his contract situation.
The report suggests that any interested party will still have to fork out the entirety of his release clause, which is believed to be €30m (£25.6 m), although London giants are not prioritising midfield incomings this summer.
Pellegrini has amassed 21 goals and 34 assists from 152 games in AS Roma shirt since 2017, however, a thigh injury ruled him out of Italy’s triumphant Euro 2020 season.
