Tottenham Hotspur are the latest Premier League team to show an interest in Serie A giants, Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to the reports.
The Senegalese international defender has been valued at £89m by Napoli CEO Aurelio De Laurentiis, despite a mixed 2019-20 season before the coronavirus, pandemic brought a halt to the campaign.
The Red Devils have been strongly linked with Kalidou Koulibaly in the recent years, with Portuguese head-coach Jose Mourinho in particular desperate to secure his services during his time at Old Trafford.
Fellow Premier League side the Merseyside Reds have been tipped to move for the 28-year-old defender in the summer, meanwhile, as they look to strengthen their defensive options.
According to Il Mattino, a switch to the Spurs – where Jose Mourinho is now in charge – is also a real possibility for Kalidou Koulibaly.
The report indicates that Serie A giants, Napoli may consider a player-plus-cash offer, with outright big-money contracts less likely this year in the wake of the coronavirus crisis.
Tottenham also plan to beat Manchester United in their pursuit of Lyon striker Moussa Dembele as Jose Mourinho plans to strengthen his offensive end ahead of the 2020/21 season.
