Napoli have offered Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny a three-year deal to stay with them, reports in Italy have claimed.
The 27-year-old is coming to the end of a two season-long loan spell at Roma, and has recently stated that his time in Italy has inspired the best form of his career.
He will return to Arsenal this summer and it has been suggested that he will battle Petr Cech to get his No.1 spot back.
But, according to Sport Italia, the Poland international has an offer on the table to stay in Serie A.
They claim that Szczesny’s representatives held a meeting with Napoli’s director of sport who has told the goalkeeper he has a lucrative three-year deal on the table from them.
With a year left on his contract at Arsenal, any move would require a fee, with Napoli set to begin discussions with the Gunners when the window opens.
