UCL giants keen on to sign Chelsea anchorman this month

While Xavi’s Barcelona are actively planning their summer transfer strategies, owner Joan Laporta also has an eye on the future.

He is already scheming together plans for 2023 as well and, as per a recent report from Fichajes, Blaugrana are considering making a move for Chelsea star N’Golo Kante in June 2023.

The France international has lifted almost every trophy there with the Blues in his six years at Stamford Bridge, playing a vital part in their success. The player is also a World Cup winner with his country.

N’Golo, though, will be entering the final 12 months of his present contract with the English side at the end of the term, meaning he’ll become a free agent next year.

And the Premier League giants are unable to renew his contract for the time being because of the sanctions by the United Kingdom Government, which prevent them from bringing in fresh faces as well as selling current players until the takeover is completed.

N’Golo will enter the next term without signing an extension, and the La Liga heavyweights are now planning to capitalise on the current situation to lure him to Catalonia on a Bosman deal.
