La Liga club Villarreal playmaker Pablo Fornals is reportedly a transfer target for Premier League pair West Ham United and Arsenal.
The twice-capped Spain international has impressed for Villarreal in an otherwise disappointing season, starting all, however, one of their La Liga games.
Manager Luis Garcia has revealed that there has been some interest in 22-year-old from elsewhere and, according to the Sport reports, the Gunners and West Ham United are two of the teams that are the frontrunners to secure his services.
Pablo Fornals, who spent two years in La Liga club Malaga’s first team before joining Yellow Submarine in 2017, is believed to have a £28.5m release clause in his deal.
La Liga giants Barcelona were previously tipped to make an offer for the 22-year-old star, however, they are unlikely to move for another playmaker after reaching an agreement this week to secure services of Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong for the next season.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are planning move for another La Liga star Aissa Mandi who is currently playing for Real Betis.
