West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to assess the performance of Grzegorz Krychowiak during the Baggies’ Premier League clash with Everton on Saturday, and it appears that the majority were very impressed by the midfielder.
Alan Pardew’s men went into the game with the Toffees looking to continue their recent upturn in form which has seen them book their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup and end their long wait for a Premier League victory.
And it appeared that they may be on their way to making it three wins in a row in all competitions as Jay Rodriguez gave the visitors the lead at Goodison Park inside seven minutes.
The contest was overshadowed by the devastating injury suffered by James McCarthy towards the start of the second-half as a collision with Salomon Rondon saw the Everton midfielder’s leg broken.
The Toffees would ensure that the points were shared as Oumar Niasse equalised with around 20 minutes to go. The draw leaves West Brom 19th in the table, three points off safety.
A number of Baggies players were praised for their performances, including Krychowiak. It was the Poland international’s sumptuous pass with the outside of his boot that set up Rodriguez for the opener and his overall display was arguably one of his best since he arrived at The Hawthorns on loan.
