Chelsea ace Ruben Loftus-Cheek has reportedly emerged as a loan target for West Ham United.
The England international has struggled for playing time at Stamford Bridge this campaign, with just 318 minutes being played in all competitions since the beginning of the new season.
The Mirror is reporting, that has resulted in West Ham shortlisting the central midfielder as a potential loan addition for the January transfer window.
Long-term injuries to Manuel Lanzini and Andriy Yarmolenko are likely to force manager Manuel Pellegrini into the market, although the Hammers may be restricted to temporary deals due to their summer outlay.
However, the report suggests that the Blues are currently unwilling to part ways with 22-year-old with the versatile midfielder playing a part off the bench in the Premier League and from the start in cup competitions and Europea League where he scored a hat-trick, alerting Maurizio Sarri.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has just over two-and-a-half years left on his contract at the West Londoners, and the club must start negotiations over his future as the midfielder has multiple suitors and finding a new club will not be a big problem.
