Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly keen to confirm a new deal for Adama Traore as soon as possible in order to fend off interest from hosts of Eurpean teams inlcuding PL rivals Liverpool.

Nuno Espsasito’s side have made strong progress behind the scenes in recent months, extending the deals of Mexico International forward Raul Jimenez, Conor Coady who has been also rumoured with a switch to Liverpool, Max Kilman and Pedro Neto as well.

However, while talks are believed to have been productive with Spanish winger, it appears that they have been delayed in their efforts to formalise fresh terms for the former Barcelona star.

According to 90 min, club officials are frustrated that the Spanish winger is yet to sign on the dotted line, an issue said to be created by his agent.

The development comes at a time when the former Barcelona star has been kept among the Wolves substitutes for much of the current season.

A number of Premier League teams, including Man City and Liverpool, may be ready to renew their interest in the player if he does not extend his deal past 2023.
