Sevilla’s in-demand star Steven N’Zonzi has reportedly agreed personal terms to join Roma this summer transfer window.
The 29-year-old has asked to leave the Spanish side and has not featured in any of their four competitive games so far the new campaign – including Sunday’s Spanish Super Cup defeat to Barcelona, which are among the clubs to have been linked with the Frenchman.
While Arsenal have also shown an interest before the end of the English transfer window, but The Mirror is suggesting that he has now agreed personal terms with AS Roma.
However, the two sides are yet to agree a fee, with Sevilla hesitating to lose the World Cup winner and holding out for a £30 million bid from the Serie A giants.
Steven N’Zonzi joined Sevilla from Stoke City back in 2015 and has gone on to appear in 136 matches for the club across all competitions, helping them to win the Europa League title in his first season.
For Arsenal, it will be a blow as Unai Emery will lose the target with whom he was linked after being appointed as Emirates boss, but the Gunners opted to make a move for France international.
